Why do we do it?

We do it because we believe there needs to be more of a meaningful debate between entrepreneurs, managers, researchers and investors on the significance of entrepreneurial thinking. Through thoughtful discussion we can begin to understand why and how entrepreneurial companies grow and sustain themselves through change. In some organizations, these changes are due to exogenous factors such as recession, market demands, political and legislative pressures, globalisation or technological shifts. In other organizations internal changes emerge from founders leaving the business, new management systems and processes and succession planning. Irrespective of these changes, entrepreneurial minded businesses have to deal with the uncertainty and ambiguity by managing the downside of risk. At Rootbind, we believe that we can provide insight for organizations that they can draw on for their particular circumstances.
